Use the layout diagrams on Pages 2, 4, and 5 as a guide.
Here are some photos to help you construct the Top, Bottom, and Side Borders:
We diagonally pieced our Top and Bottom Borders, you don't have to do it that way, but with our fabrics, diagonal piecing is almost invisible! Take your measurements through the center of the quilt as shown on Page 2. Find our diagonal piecing instructions from Our Susannah! Quilt here.
Sew the pieces for the Side Borders together...you will make 2! One for each side...
then sew to a 12 1/2-inch block, or a 12 1/2-inch scrap...if you didn't make all of the blocks...substitute a 12 1/2-inch scrap square! Use your favorite scrap fabric from your quilt!
Sew the remaining length of Blue Solid to the pieced units and your Side Borders are ready to be sewn onto the quilt!
