When the summer is in full swing and everyone gathers outside, this quick and tasty treat will hit the spot! The amounts can be easily varied to suit the crowd. Be sure and have all of the necessary condiments ready so that each one may top as he likes. Serve as a snack or amusing appetizer!
Ingredients
3-4 cups of your favorite chili
5-6 hot dogs, sliced about 1/4 inch thick
shredded cheese
finely chopped onion
pickle relish
ketchup
mustard
nacho corn chips

In a large microwave safe bowl (or large saucepan for the stove) heat chili and hot dog slices until hot, stirring occasionally. Pour hot chili-hot dog mixture over nachos. Sprinkle with condiments, as desired.
Yield: about 6 servings
Vary the amounts of chili and hot dogs, to make more or less.
Chili-hot dog mixture may alternatively scooped with nachos.
