Great when peaches are in season...whipped cream is a must!
1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/4 tspn ground nutmeg
2 tbspns butter
8-9 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
whipped cream (with sugar and vanilla...if you like)
Preheat oven to 400-degrees F. Blend sugar, flour, nutmeg. and butter until well incorporated. Spread half of mixture into bottom of unbaked pie shell. Cover with sliced peaches. Sprinkle remaining sugar/flour mixture over peaches. Bake 35 minutes or until golden. Serve with dollop of whipped cream.
